Our National Anthem
To begin World Series game 3, "New Girl" producer/star Zooey Deschanel performed our National Anthem in Detroit. Apparently, she sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" during the World Series last year.

Bruce Bochy: Hall of Fame manager?
(Excerpt) "The 57-year-old manager is now a two-time World Series champion. In the eyes of his boss, Bochy will inevitably add another title.
'He's a Hall of Fame manager,' general manager Brian Sabean said. 'Enough said.'
When Bochy comes up for consideration for the Hall of Fame, Sabean's closing argument won't need to be much longer.
